Osbourne Bodden, who served as the Minister of Health from 2013 to 2015, has been named head of the Health Services Authority (HSA) board.
He takes over as chairman of the board from Jonathan Tibbetts, who was appointed in 2014.
Bodden’s two-year appointment began on August 2nd, according to a statement in the government’s 6 August gazette.
Re-appointed to the HSA board as deputy chair, and in effect until August 1, 2022, is lawyer Jaron Leslie.
Also re-appointed to the board of directors were Nanalie Cover and Tresea Brown. The following new appointments make up the rest of the board: Joy Vernon, Tayvis Walters, and Dr. Luana Look Loy.
