A Collaborative Approach to Women’s Health
The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA) is set to host its 13th annual Women’s Health Conference on March 7, 2025, at the Hotel Indigo. This year’s theme, “Women’s Reproductive Healthcare: A Collaborative Approach,” emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in advancing women’s health. The conference aims to bring together experts from various disciplines to improve patient outcomes and empower women with the latest developments in reproductive health.

The conference will feature presentations on cutting-edge topics, including:

- Innovative treatments for cervical cancer
- The role of social workers in reproductive healthcare

Recognizing International Women’s Day
The conference is held in recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8, a global celebration of women’s achievements and a call to action for gender equality and women’s rights. The 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action,” highlights the urgency of addressing gender equality and health disparities.
Growing Interest and Participation
Since its inception in 2012, the Women’s Health Conference has expanded significantly. Last year’s event drew over 350 attendees, filling all available spots within just one day. To accommodate the growing interest, this year’s event has been moved to a larger venue, allowing for additional participation from the medical community and the public.
